Meet the Trainer
Wayne Lukas
I started in the horse racing industry in November 1984 as an apprentice and have had the privilege of working with some fantastic trainers over the years, learning a great deal from them.
Now in my 41st year in the industry, and after a few successful years as an owner, I have decided to put my four decades of knowledge into my new career as a racehorse trainer.

In 2023, I pre-trained my own horses, and in a short space of time, we achieved 3 wins, 3 seconds, 1 third, and 2 fourths with just three horses across 16 races.

I plan to continue this momentum in 2025 with a team of 13 horses so far.

Meet the horses
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
Welcome to Meet the Horses, where we introduce the incredible horses that are the heart of the Girl Power Racing Club. Each one brings its own talent and personality to the team, setting the stage for something special. Get to know our first member, with more to join the lineup soon.

Honour The Girls
Sire: Time Test | Dam: Dominike
Half-Sister to: Thunder Roar (4 wins, £79,000 in prize money)
Honour The Girls is the first horse to race under the GirlPower Racing banner. Sired by Time Test and out of Dominike, she comes from a strong pedigree. Her half-brother, Thunder Roar, has proven himself on the track with multiple wins and solid earnings.

With her breeding and potential, Honour The Girls is one to watch as she begins her racing career.
